Club/Organization update #3

Oct 21, 2008

Take a few minutes to reflect over the past nine weeks. We have completed several assignments, learned many new things, and are now responsible for updating club/organizational webpages.

Club/Organizational pages

Even if you have not heard from your advisor, please email them AGAIN – this time, copy me (CC) so that I can follow up for you. If you have, let me know what you are doing with or have already done with/for your club.

You need pictures of your clubs ASAP – They will be due by Monday, October 27. If you need to borrow a camera, please let me know.

Class work Reflection

Use this time to reflect on the first nine weeks. Look at our work and the kind of work you have been producing. Evaluate your progress and the type of work you have been turning in – be honest. Tell me if you are happy with your work/progress – and if you foresee any changes for this next nine weeks.

This reflection should be at least one paragraph – with 6 or more sentences. Key the reflection in Word, spell/grammar check and then post. You need to have a response posted before class on Wednesday, October 22.

GTCHS Club webpage Update

All of you should have attended a club meeting for your organization at this point. You should have pictures, officer names and updated information. I need to know where you stand with your club. If you do not have a club – you need to be actively involved in helping someone else in your group. If I see that you have "nothing to do", I will gladly assist you in finding a club site on which to work. Please answer the following questions when responding to this blog:

• Have you attended a club meeting – if so – when, if not, when are you going to?
  
• Do you have pictures? If so, describe – If not, when will that happen? If you need equipment, tell me the day before so that I can bring a camera for you
  
• Officer information? What is the status?
  
• Overall progress

For each GTCHS club for which you are responsible, please share the following information:

• Have you been in personal contact with your club advisor?
  
• How and WHEN you plan to attend a meeting to acquire pictures. This is not an option. It is a requirement for the club page and this class.
