**Important information** - We will have class on Friday - normal odd schedule - as field day/yearbook day has been postponed - So your film will be due on Friday, May 15 as originally scheduled.
So - how's it really going? As we near the due date, every one should be involved in the process of finishing your masterpiece. There are many things that still need to be accomplished. As I have said before, this is a GROUP project - not a "ONE PERSON editing/completing the project" project. Your group members MUST share all responsibilities. Your group will be graded on this aspect. I will not be
responsible for ensuring this happens - you will as group members.
So I will better understand which group member is supposed to be accomplishing what task, answer the questions below. Please number each answer so it corresponds to its appropriate question. You will be graded on your responses not just for the fact that you responded to the blog - I would like these responses individually.
1. At this point, who in your group is ensuring that each group member has a task to accomplish?
2. Is your filming complete? Are there any additional scenes that need to be filmed?
3. Who is editing your film?
4. Who is gathering music?
5. Who is working on the titles/credits/transition title slides?
6. Who is working on special effects?
7. Is every member of your group in at least one scene of decent length? If not, who is missing and why? (Each member MUST be in at least one scene)
8. Does your film make sense? Even if the film is "supposed" to be funny, it needs to have a storyline of some sort – as not to lose audience interest.
9. What type of costumes, background sets or props has your group used?
10. Do you really believe that this film is of advanced quality? Why?
One of the requirements on the rubric is the use of props and background sets - for a most realistic feel - please make sure this is given the utmost importance.
I appreciate the time you are taking to answer this blog thoroughly - it will count as two class assignments - so please make sure you answer all the questions asked. The blog needs to be answered on Wednesday, May 13 to receive full credit. Any response after May 15 will not receive credit.
I am really looking forward to see this advanced film productions!!

8.The film does make sense.
9.We have had a couple of "normal" clothes for costumes. but since our video is about Charter, we have used the school as a lot of our background.

-Will Vaughan
1.-No one has ensured that every one has something to do yet

Dear Mrs. Rhodes,
1. All of us are ensuring that we have our own tasks to accomplish2. Yes our filiming is complete, and no we do not have any other scenes that need to be filmed.
3. Alex is editing the film but everyone in the group is contributing ideas on how the film should be.
4. We already have the music on alex's computer, and everyone is helping to decided on songs for each scene.
5. Torri and Lindsey, aregoing to be working on the titles and credits and transitions.
6. Alex and Bekah are working on special effects.
7. Yes everyone is in a scene.
8. Yes our film makes sense. It consists of flashbacks but it does have a story line.
9. We have used a cat in the hat costume, elephant costume, wigs, beard, glasses, cars, hats, ect.
10. Yes I do think our film is of advanced quality. Although filming was easy each scene is detailed, and the editing is going to be very advanced, along with the music credits and special effects.
Can't wait for you to see it,
<3 Torri
1. At this point, who in your group is ensuring that each group member has a task to accomplish?
Tiffiny Puckett
2. Is your filming complete? Are there any additional scenes that need to be filmed?
The very last closing scene needs to be filmed.
3. Who is editing your film?
Bobby, Daniel, with some help from Patrick
4. Who is gathering music?
Tiffiny
5. Who is working on the titles/credits/transition title slides?
David Vaughn
6. Who is working on special effects?
Will Vaughn
7. Is every member of your group in at least one scene of decent length? If not, who is missing and why? (Each member MUST be in at least one scene)
Yes, everyone has a speaking part and is in the film.
8. Does your film make sense? Even if the film is "supposed" to be funny, it needs to have a storyline of some sort – as not to lose audience interest.
Yes, the story line is trying to prove that Charter is not nerdy, but in the process its proving exactly that.
9. What type of costumes, background sets or props has your group used?
We have had to use regular clothes and accessories, (jeans, t-shirt), calculators, laptop case, science project, Crunch Bar, Mrs. Thompson's Math Class, flash drives...and a few others that i can't remember.
10. Do you really believe that this film is of advanced quality? Why?
Not really. I think that if we had just a few more days to edit the movie more, it could be something of better quality. But since our group started late and had so many absences, we have to book it a little to get it done. We have had a little trouble with the whole group agreeing on everything. We also had some of our film messed up so we had to refilm all of that. Overall, i'm not expecting this to be a great movie.
hi this is bobby. here are the answers to your questions
1 we have all been helping to keep everyone on task
2 no our filming is not done we still need our final scene
3 i am editing our film with daniel
4 brooke and tifiney are doing our music
5 david is doing all of these
6 patrick and will are doing effects
7 yes every member of our group is in the movie
8 yes we are pretty sure the movie makes sense
9 some props have been pendrives, we use natural backgrounds, and every now and then some people dress in normal clothes
10 i do not think that it is of advanced quality, we had a bunch of incidents that were not under our control
have a nice day mrs rhodes
1. Nobody is undertaking what needs to be done, besides the minimal involment of the group leader. Otherwise we are simply editing the film that we have.
2. That is currently uncertain for the group, additional filming will need to be done if we do not have enough time or if the scenes cannot be cut together to look good.
3. Myself, and Bobby.
4. Brooke, and Tiffany are currently gathering music.
5. David is currently creating the title and credits, etc.
6. Patrick and Will are currently creating the effects.
7. Yes everyone is in at least one scene if not more.
8. I am not sure if it will be able to hold the interest of the audience, because there is minimal dialogue spoken. Also there doesn't seem to be much of a story besides the running scene, but that doesn't provide much to interest someone. Music will be necessary to keep the audience interested....
9. There were no costumes, and the only prop was my laptop case. Unfortunately there was nothing else used.
10. No, there was no real plot in this film, and the acting was adaquate. The film in itself isn't very good in my oppinion, because there were minimal props; also there was not much to go on. The scenes were simple and had no real flavor in them besides the opening scene. The lenght is also way to short at this time, I do not believe that this film will get much better either...
Oblivionfox~
In our group Tiffany is making sure that everyone has a job to complete in the editing of the movie. We have about one more scene to film. Right now Bobby and Daniel are doing the "editing" of the film. Tiffany is also working on getting music for the film. I am the one getting the credits/transitions/and transition title slides. Will is working on the special effects for our movie. Yes, everyone had their "own" scene in the movie and everybody appears in the film at least once. Yes, the movie is following the point that is presented in the opening scene. Not too many props were used in the film other than some items needed for the scenes and a different set of clothes for a few scenes. Yes, we have worked hard the past few weeks on this and i'm excited how it will turn out.
David Vaughan
1. Everyone is ensuring that we have our film done and that it is accomplished.
2. yes filming is complete.
3. Alex
4. Everyone is helping find music
5. Torri and Lindsey
6. Alex and Bekah
7. Yes everyone is in atleast one scene
8. Yes our movie makes sense
9. We used costumes like cat in the hat and fairy wings and then we used the enviorment as a background
10. Yes i believe it is somewhat advanced, and we used proper costumes and sets.
-STEWART STEWART
1. Fro has assigned the tasks.
2. Filming is complete.
3. Fro is editing.
4. Stew has music.
5. Lindsey and Torri have credits, etc.
6. Fro and I are doing special effects.
7. We are all in several scenes.
8. Ish, we sort of have a story line.
9. We had hats and costumes. We made cars out of cardboard boxes.
10. This film will be funny, but I don't think I would really say "advanced."
Our group is working on editing today. Last night, I imported all of the footage (20.47gb) and today we will start the beginning of the editing process. I do not think that any more filming will be needed. We have over 1 and a half hours of footage. We redid Lacole's part already, so I think that we have enough footage of her to put something together that works.
1. each member will be required to look up music and footage of the real incident that happened that they are making fun of.
2. Filming is complete, at least most people think so.
3. I will be doing the majority of the editing for my group, with input from leaders in the group
4. Every person is gathering their own music for their scene. Opening and closing music will be chosen by me.
5. Melinda will be doing the titles and credits
6.Special effects will become part of the editing process.
7. Each member has their own scene, and I am in the intro part.
8. Hopefully people will understand our goal-- cross your fingers
9. We used maps, costumes, wheel chairs, golf chairs, and many other backdrops and props
10. This film is mostly of advanced quality, but you can tell that it is a school quality and not professionally done.
Have a great day.
1. We are all equally keeping each other on task and just making sure things are getting done.
2.Our filming has been done and no scenes need to be re-shot.
3. I am editing the film.
4.Stewart will be gathering music
5.Torri and Lindsey will be assorting titles and credits.
6.Rebekah and I will be the special effects supervisors
7.Yes each group member is in atleast 1 scene.
8. Our film has some logic to it and can be followed.
9.We used costumes supplied by Torri and we used various resources gathers from the school.
10. No I do not believe this film is in any way or form of advanced quaility, if we really could have focused on a serious plot and accomplished thoroughly and had atleast 2 more weeks to work on this, it could MAYBE be good work. Trying to make an advance piece of work would take an excessive amount of time and resource.

7.Is every member of your group in at least one scene of decent length? If not, who is missing and why? (Each member MUST be in at least one scene)
-yes everyone had close to equal filmed time
8.Does your film make sense? Even if the film is "supposed" to be funny, it needs to have a storyline of some sort – as not to lose audience interest.
-yes it does, and its funny. we are trying to proove that charter is not nerdy, but in the process prooving that it truly is nerdy.
9.What type of costumes, background sets or props has your group used?
-we are supposed to be charter students, so charter uniform, there are some "normal" people in "normal" clothes, we use calculators, labtop case, pendrives, mrs thompsons math class. and other things, set is at charter.
10.Do you really believe that this film is of advanced quality? Why?
-hah. not so much.. we needed more time, people kept being absent, our film got messed up out of our control, so we had to refilm, we need a few more days to edit the movie.. hopefully it will be put together, but quality.. thats a funny one..
XP - blechhhh
